The Boston Grove/Mystic River Grove

Welcome to our website

As the name suggests, we are located near Boston, Massachusetts in the USA. We are affiliated with the Order of Bards Ovates & Druids (OBOD), and have been offering resources for local Druids and celebrating seasonal festivals in the New England area since 1992. As such, we are the oldest OBOD grove in the USA.

Since December 2007, we have also gone by the name Mystic River Grove. While there is actually a Mystic River in the Boston area, and we are honored to share the name, our new name relates more to the inner nature and energy of the grove, rather than to any geographical location. Sometimes a trickle and sometimes a torrent, the character of the Grove has evolved continuously since its humble beginnings many years ago, ever changing with the landscape through which we flow. But we are still here, celebrating life and the seasonal cycle in an unbroken fashion.
